Biography
Julie Daniels was born and raised in Oklahoma City and has called Bartlesville her “adopted hometown” for forty years. She was elected to the senate in 2016.
Juie currently serves as Senate Majority Floor Leader. During her senate tenure she has chaired the Judiciary, Administrative Rules and Rules Committees. She has authored key pieces of pro-life, First Amendment and school choice legislation. She has also focused on lawsuit reform and a variety of issues related to the criminal justice system.
Prior to her election Julie spent three decades in volunteer leadership at the local and state level. She is a former Mayor of Bartlesville and served eight years on the City Council. She currently serves as Vice President of the Oklahoma Alliance of Boys & Girls Clubs – her favorite volunteer organization.
Julie is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and the University of Tulsa College of Law. She and husband Charlie have been married 49 years. They have two sons, a lovely daughter-in-law and three precious grandchildren.
