Lisa B. Nelson on COVID-19 and Getting America Back to Work

ALEC CEO discusses the joint public and private sector response to the COVID-19 pandemic

This week, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, ALEC CEO Lisa B. Nelson appeared on two radio shows to highlight the joint private and public sector responses happening across the states and the importance of sharing information and resources.

Nelson calls on legislators back to work. At a time when Americans look to their governments for answers and leadership, the free-enterprise spirit remains at the forefront as businesses step up to work with and for their communities. Nelson joined Cheryl Chumley on her podcast, Bold and Blunt, to discuss the free-market approach to COVID-19 responses. Nelson also joined David Webb on SiriusXM Patriot to discuss how early and clear information sharing last week led to locally executed, federally supported response efforts this week, such as laptop funding for schools:

The State Audio Resources: COVID-19 playlist will be continually updated with conference calls and other pieces of audio information from ALEC during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
