Biography
Elbars Kuerban serves as the Senior Accountant at ALEC, where he manages the organization’s core financial operations and reporting. Prior to joining ALEC, Elbars worked at The Heritage Foundation as both a Senior Accountant and a Data Associate.
Born in East Turkestan (the Chinese Communist Party has banned that name and instead calls it Xinjiang), Elbars escaped the oppressive hands of the CCP. He is beyond grateful to the United States and is dedicated to giving back and serving the country in the best way he knows how.
A graduate of Western Governors University, Elbars currently resides in Waldorf, Maryland. Outside of work, he is an accomplished photographer and an avid tennis player. When he is not on the court or behind the camera, he enjoys relaxing at home with his cat.
