Luke Hilgemann is the Chief Executive Officer of Americans for Prosperity and Americans for Prosperity Foundation. He was previously AFP’s COO and before that served as the Wisconsin State Director. A native of Wisconsin, Luke has spent his life and career fighting for lower taxes, limited government, personal freedom, fiscal restraint, and sound economic principles. Prior to his work at AFP, Luke worked in the Wisconsin state legislature for more than a decade, most recently as chief of staff for the majority leader in the State Assembly. Luke is also a veteran of Wisconsin politics, having worked on several successful campaigns across the state. His most recent work included helping to secure a 60-seat majority in the State Assembly as a regional campaign manager for the Republican Assembly Campaign Committee in 2010. Luke and his wife Jayme are the proud parents of three children, Kohle, Kaleb and Kenly.
