Biography
Matthew Lipina is the Coordinator of Development for ALEC, running the day to day operations of the direct mail program as well as overseeing donor correspondence and assisting with major donor outreach and other membership tasks. Before joining ALEC in the Fall of 2017, Matt worked in the House of Representatives as a Staff Assistant for Congressman Andy Biggs. Matt first moved to DC in order to intern at The Heritage Foundation and Heritage Action for America.
Born and raised in Wisconsin for 22 years, Matt went to Marquette University where he double majored in Political Science and Economics, and spent a semester studying abroad in Florence, Italy.
Matt is an avid sports and outdoors fan and spends most of his free time rooting for his hometown Green Bay Packers, ever convinced that this year is “their year”.
