Elon Musk Loves Rex Tillerson for Secretary of State, and it Makes Perfect Sense

Tech publications are expressing shock over Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s recent tweets in support of President Trump’s Secretary of State nominee, Rex Tillerson. Musk is the alternative energy entrepreneur behind Tesla and Solar City. He took to Twitter this week in praise of Mr. Tillerson’s support for market based climate risk management as well as the former ExxonMobil CEO’s extensive management experience.

While some are astonished by Musk’s pronouncements, he is not alone in thinking Tillerson will be an effective Secretary of State for sound environmental stewardship. Both the Economist and Townhall have recently published opinion pieces that make a case for environmentalists to support Tillerson.
