State Legislator of the Month – AZ Rep. Shawnna Bolick

For the month of November, we are pleased to announce Arizona Representative Shawnna Bolick as the ALEC-FreedomWorks State Legislator of the Month. This award is used to highlight substantive state policy successes by State Legislators – bringing their local win to a national platform. The FreedomWorks network of activists are second to none in supporting the efforts of liberty-loving state legislators.

Ensuring economic security means ensuring individual liberties. Downstream from these liberties is the ability to continue with your existing job experience from one state into another. This might seem straight forward, but it isn’t the case in all states. Arizona just passed a bill to protect individuals as they travel across state lines.

Representative Bolick was a cosponsor on this bill, which has Arizona recognize the licenses and job experience gained from one state. This ensures that past training and lessons-learned will be respecting and recognized in the new state when seeking a new job.
