Utah Re-Named State With Best Economic Outlook: Jonathan Williams On KSL Tonight

Jonathan Williams, ALEC Executive Vice President of Policy and Chief Economist, spoke with hosts Leah Murray and Greg Skordas of Utah’s KSL Tonight about the success of Utah being named the state with the best economic outlook for the 16th year in a row by Rich States, Poor States: ALEC-Laffer State Economic Competitiveness Index.

Utah’s been a real leader in this policy area. Utah almost always is one of the best prepared states to weather either an economic storm or some sort of recessionary pressure that will affect any state.

I think a healthier state and healthier economy ultimately mean more economic opportunity, not just today, but for the years ahead.
