Biography
Chandler Averette is the Digital Media Specialist at the American Legislative Exchange Council. He promotes the great work of ALEC, its policy directors and its principles of limited government, free markets and federalism.
Before joining ALEC, Chandler got his start as a district intern for Congresswoman Virginia Foxx, aiding staffers to address constituent needs in North Carolina. From there, he engaged in congressional campaign fieldwork in Virginia and Georgia during the 2020 and 2022 elections. Previously, he was a Data Regional Analytics Coordinator at the Republican National Committee, where he developed voter analysis reports for members and campaigns in the Northeast and Midwest regions.
Additionally, he participated in fellowships at The American Conservative and The Heritage Foundation. He is a member of the Alexander Hamilton Society, participating in discussions and workshops on international relations and foreign policy.
Chandler graduated from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Currently living in Washington, D.C., Chandler spends his spare time going to the movies, reading books, exploring the sights of D.C. and spending time with friends and family.
