Biography
Ilana Ovental is a Program Manager at the ALEC Center for State Fiscal Reform.
Ilana graduated from Boston University with a BA in Political Science in 2022. She was previously the Program Manager on the Education Policy team at the American Enterprise Institute, where she led the team’s Conservative Education Reform Network. In addition to her role at ALEC, she is a Koch Associate through Stand Together’s Koch Associate Program and a Richard John Neuhaus Fellow through The Public Interest Fellowship.
She is originally from New York City and can often be found playing softball, delving deep into ancient Jewish texts, and exploring the DMV area.
