Mark Lucas

Mark Lucas is a Policy Coordinator at the American Legislative Exchange Council, where he assists all the Task Force Directors and the rest of the policy team in their operations.

Mark graduated from University of California, Santa Barbara with a BA in Political Science in 2024. He previously interned with ALEC in the summer of 2023. Throughout his time in college, he was President of his school’s Turning Point USA chapter and a member of College Republicans.

He is originally from southern California and spends his free time cooking, hiking, and exploring the DC-Maryland-Virginia area.
