Biography
Josh Meyer is Research Manager at the ALEC Center for State Fiscal Reform, where he works to apply the principles of limited government, free markets and federalism to issues like taxes, state debt and government spending. He also assists with ALEC’s Tax and Fiscal Policy Task Force.
Josh grew up in Orange County, California before moving to Utah for college. His experience at ALEC began with an internship while still a student. After graduating from the University of Utah with a degree in Quantitative Analysis of Markets and Organizations, Josh returned to ALEC as a full-time member of the team.
Outside of the office, Josh can often be found training for his next marathon, hiking in the wilderness, or enjoying a book on political philosophy.
