Caden serves as the accountant at ALEC, assisting the CFO in many of the day-to-day operations. Caden originally came to ALEC as an intern from his alma mater, Lubbock Christian University, where he studied accounting and finance. He was drawn to ALEC by the focus on free markets and federalism, but was eager to stay after an inspiring semester among the welcoming and passionate ALEC staff.
Caden is from Big Spring, Texas, where he learned everything from barbeque to business. While in college, Caden put his passion for entrepreneurship into practice, cofounding a graphic design business, flipping homes, creating cash flow for his fraternity as their Treasurer and serving as the Vice President of LCU’s entrepreneurial club. From these experiences, Caden brings with him a first-hand look into the lives of small business owners in West Texas.
While away from ALEC, Caden enjoys seeking out the best food DC has to offer. However, he has yet to find anything that quite beats authentic Texas barbecue.
