Veterans and Military Affairs
Task Force Description
Established in 2025, the Veterans and Military Affairs Task Force works to honor and empower those who serve our nation by developing actionable model policies that support veterans, service members, and military families. With over 100 state legislators and private-sector leaders, the Task Force serves as a leading national forum for shaping effective veterans and military affairs policy at the state level.
The Veterans and Military Affairs Task Force is committed to ensuring that veterans, service members, and military families are recognized as assets to their communities and are positioned to thrive. Its work advances policies intentionally crafted to address the unique challenges facing the veterans and military community. By supporting reintegration, advancing innovative mental health treatments, and removing bureaucratic barriers, the Task Force develops state-level solutions that deliver lasting impact.
