Biography
Lora Current is the Senior Manager of the Energy, Environment and Agriculture Task Force. She works diligently with state leaders and stakeholders to shape vital policy that supports limited government, free markets, and federalism.
Lora is a policy and communications strategist with experience in grassroots advocacy, coalition building, and driving legislative engagement to advance America-first values. In previous roles, she spearheaded activist training programs, crafted policy strategies, and provided expert testimony before state legislatures on critical issues ranging from energy, technology, border security, education reform, and family formation.
She earned her master’s degree from Harvard University and her bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University, focusing on government policy, communications, and nonprofit organizations.
Out of the office, Lora is heavily involved in her home church, teaches high school girls’ dance, is a 4-H advisor, and enjoys working on her family’s cattle farm.
