Arlington, VA – ALEC CEO Lisa B. Nelson released the following statement on the passing of the two West Virginia National Guard Soldiers:

We are deeply saddened and shocked by the senseless attack on the courageous West Virginia National Guard Soldiers in Washington, D.C., who protect our freedoms and way of life. We ask that you join us in praying for the Soldiers wounded in this attack, for comfort for their families, and for peace and healing across our nation.
