Statement from ALEC on the Passing of Michael Reagan

The American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) mourns the passing of Michael Reagan, the eldest son of former President Ronald Reagan and a staunch defender of American exceptionalism, free markets, and limited government.

Mr. Reagan was a dedicated philanthropist, having raised countless dollars for disease research, foster care, and adoption advocacy. Additionally, his work leading the Reagan Legacy Foundation helped promote the same values his father championed as our 40^th President.

ALEC extends its deepest condolences to his wife, Colleen, two children, Cameron and Ashley, and the entire Reagan family for their loss.
